A lifelong dream. . .
The Mom and Bean Blog is a dream I have held onto for over a decade.
Born somewhere between big dreams, messy realities, and a whole lot of “okay, but what if we just tried?” It didn’t start with a master plan or a five-year vision—it started with real life happening loudly, tenderly, and all at once.
This space grew out of motherhood, creativity, mental health journeys, infertility, neurodivergence, and the beautiful chaos of becoming who you are while also keeping tiny humans alive. It’s a place where feelings are welcome, perfection is gently laughed at, and growth happens in fits, starts, and coffee-fueled bursts of inspiration.
Around here, we believe life is better when it’s honest—and a little playful. Some days are joyful and light, some days are heavy and quiet, and some days are pure chaos with glitter on top. All of it belongs. All of it is part of the story. The Mom and Bean Blog exists to hold space for those moments, to laugh through them, learn from them, and maybe feel a little less alone while doing it.
Our story is about choosing softness in a loud world, curiosity over comparison, and connection over perfection. It’s about building a life and creative work that feels aligned—even when it’s messy, even when it’s still unfolding. It’s about honouring where you’ve been while staying open to where you’re going.
Most of all, this space is rooted in ohana—family in all its forms. The people you’re born into, the people you choose, and the community you find along the way. If you’re here, you’re part of it. No rules, no expectations—just come as you are.
So whether you’re here to read, reflect, laugh, cry, or just scroll with a warm drink in hand, welcome.
