Counting Down

18 Days, almost in the final stretch.

Between the weather, the busses and the flu that’s going around, my girl has spent more of the last three weeks home with me than at school. I don’t really mind it, but it’s damn funny how it timed out, though, opening a store, developing stock and product, and trying to keep up on the blog, all while playing Candy Land, and doing numbers.

Not to mention the other stuff that I want and need to get done in the first few months of 2026, finishing my last high school credit, taxes, we finally got a family doctor, so there is that appointment, plus I need to see a dentist and my man and I are waiting to see the fertility clinic.

So far, though, it’s all good, and things are still balancing well, and it feels good.

17/18 days until the store opens at wildmama.ca, depending on whether you count today or not. I definitely don’t, I haven’t even started working today yet, and damn, I cannot wait for Saturday evening. I want to finish reading Dirty Little Saint, but between the kid, the man, the animals, and the goals, I don’t get a lot of time to chill. So Saturday night, it’s bath time with my Kindle followed by a Sunday sleep-in.

Over the next few days, I am hoping to get some of the old articles reformatted and posted (the goal is 2-3), plus a deep dive post on what the store is going to be, stuff that will be available and answering any questions.

Blessed Be ✨
